The Basilisk's Camera Arm Boat configuration mounts an Ultraarm stabilized jib and a Motocrane remote head directly to the vessel. Full 360° rotation. Gyro-stabilized picture. Built to hold the shot at speed, through wake, in Miami chop.

How It’s Different
Not a chase boat. A tracking vehicle.
A traditional chase boat is a hull with an operator holding a gimbal, following your picture vessel. The Basilisk is the vehicle the shot comes from. The camera is on the crane, the crane is on the boat, and the boat is engineered to hold both stable through wake, wind, and 30-knot pursuit.
And because the DIT is inside the on-board Dark Room, the shot is graded as it’s captured — no waiting for shore, no laptop under a canopy, no color surprises in post.
